TRACING THE ROOTS:
The Source of Our Exosomes

Exo-Pro's advanced aesthetic product line is derived from the regenerative power of mesenchymal stem cells, or MSC’s, that are harvested from placental and umbilical cord tissue allograft. Infusing young, vibrant tissues and cells delivers unparalleled rejuvenation power.

(MSCs) are multipotent stromal cells that play a critical role in the human body's regenerative processes. They have the unique ability to differentiate into a variety of cell types, including bone, cartilage, muscle, and fat cells, contributing to the repair and maintenance of various tissues. MSCs also secrete growth factors and cytokines that aid in healing and reducing inflammation, making them pivotal in the body's response to injury and in the maintenance of overall tissue health.

DECODING THE AGING PROCESS: The Role of Declining Mesenchymal Stem Cells

As we age, the quantity of mesenchymal stem cells within our bodies naturally diminishes, leading to a decrease in their regenerative capacity. This reduction is a key factor in the aging process, as it results in a slower cellular renewal rate, diminished collagen production, and a compromised ability to repair and rejuvenate tissues, ultimately contributing to the visible signs of aging and a decline in the overall vitality of our skin and body.

Exosomes are intimately linked to mesenchymal stem cells as they are the extracellular vesicles these cells release, carrying a cargo of proteins, lipids, and RNA that facilitate communication and signal transfer between cells, thereby playing a vital role in the body's healing and regenerative functions.

Enhanced Longevity: The Stability of Lyopholized Exosomes

Exo-Pro's products are perfected through lyophilization, a meticulous freeze-drying technique that extracts water from a frozen specimen in a vacuum. This process, which involves sublimation, transforms the sample into a moisture-free state, ensuring longevity and stability. Commonly utilized in preserving proteins, tissues,  lyophilization is a cornerstone of product durability and extends the shelf life of exosomes to 9 months.  Deep-freezing exosomes at -80°C may be effective, but it requires complex storage units, and dry ice with overnight shipping, which can become very expensive and impractical for the aesthetic industry. The process of freezing and subsequent thawing can also lower the recovery rate of exosomes, presenting a poor outcome for their preservation.
